SOUL RETRIEVAL
Three Ceremonies to Call Yourself back Home
When our communities were still intact, and we lived in conscious connection with the Earth, with Spirit, and with one another, we understood that hardships, violence, abuse or accidents can leave scars that run deeper than skin.
With a big enough trauma, a part of our Soul can splinter off.
In psychology, this is understood. It's called dissociation.
In the old days (and still today in some indigenous communities), the returning warriors, the survivors, the victims were recognized (you might see it in their eyes) and tended to.
Skilled healers would welcome them into a safe and sacred space where deep Soul-healing would be done.
Their essence, light and life force would be restored.
PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) is the name we give to a complex of symptoms, i.e. anxiety, insomnia, nightmares, flashbacks, depression, panic attacks, volatile anger, avoidance, numbness, guilt, shame, to name but a few.
Life gets a whole lot harder. It can lack in joy, in flow, in love, in meaning.
The cause lies in unprocessed trauma experiences.
The standard treatment approach is medications (anti-depresssants and sleep meds) and talk therapy, which can only scratch the surface, as the root cause lies much deeper, at the level of the Soul.
The practice of Soul Retrieval is an ancient pathway that can remedy this affliction.
If done well, it prepares the person's body, mind, soul and energy for the healing work to be done.
When the person is ready, the dissociated Soul parts can be called back.
Then, integration needs to take place.
Are you suffering from Soul Loss?
How do you know if you have lost a part of your Soul?
The severity of Soul loss can range from mild to severe, and so the way it plays out in your life can differ.
Ask yourself this:
-
Do I experience some of the conditions listed above?
-
Do I feel hopeless, detached, lack purpose or direction?
-
Do I suffer from unexplained fatigue, grief or chronic illnesses?
-
Has life gotten much harder since that event/accident/experience?
-
Do I find it hard to let go of toxic behaviors or people, and stay in self-sabotaging patterns?
-
Do I sometimes feel like I'm not fully here, and my thoughts, emotions and behaviors are driven by something outside of myself?
It is important to understand that we cannot always remember that we had a traumatic experience.
Memory loss can be part of the story. And some people experience Soul loss from watching a movie that is too much for their psyche.
If you feel that this is relevant to you, reach out to me, and let's have a conversation.
I will help you get clear and share what the healing process might look like for you.
I personally feel that this is extremely important healing work for most people.
It was for me.
What happens afterwards is generally a deeper sense of peace, of resilience, trust, joy and aliveness.
A sense of self, possibilities, freedom, and empowerment.
Things come into flow and movement. We have the clarity and strength to end commitments that are not in alignment.
We stop conceptualizing self-love because we are in the experience of it.
We have what is takes to live life well.
You really have nothing to loose, and everything to gain.
Trust your inner knowing, there is a part of you that wants to come home.
As you can imagine, this is not a "one fits all" scenario.
That's why it is important to get on a call before we make a deeper commitment.
However, generally, we would meet on 3 different occasions (via Zoom, unless you are local - near Boulder, CO)
for the three ceremonies: Preparation. Soul Retrieval. Integration.
Sometimes, it is important to release some fear, blocks or triggers beforehand.
We can do this through the work of "Inner Alchemy".
I honestly believe that most people would benefit from this sacred healing work.
With love and reverence, Claudia Skye
PS: I was trained in Soul Retrieval in three different traditions.
The deepest and most reliable form is what I offer here today.
